A corpse bride costume embodies this concept. This is actually a great choice, since it induces the giddiness associated with wedding dresses while maintaining that Halloween theme. Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride took the concept up a level though. The wedding dress worn by the lead female character was indeed fabulous and yet haunting at the same time. This is captured by the Corpse Bride Ultra Deluxe Collectible Adult Costume. With this on, you can totally get into character and be the girl that left this world, but returned for love. It comes in a beautiful blue gradient, starting of light at the top and becoming a grayish-black at the bottom. The top is a held up by thin straps, with a lacy neckline. The train is sheer and lace-like, with a wonderful weave and the requisite rips and tears at the bottom. The top also has a “hole” through which “ribs” are poking through, adding the “corpse” to “corpse bride”. A slightly sexier variant is the Corpse Bride Sexy Adult Costume. The addition of a long tear on the skirt shows off more leg. Note that this variant does not include some of the accessories, so if you want them you will have to add them.

This corpse bride is so sexy, you’d find it hard to believe she’s dead. This is an off-shoulder piece with lots of lace detailing. It makes excellent use of white and black to achieve that iconic look. The included headdress is beautiful with black flower motifs. Complete the look with a petticoat for skirt volume, and stockings, and you’re set to be wed as a living dead, all the while turning every head and causing tears of jealousy to be shed.
